Thermal Spray Powder

Thermal spray powder is used for High-Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) process. Molten or semi-molten materials are sprayed onto the workpiece surface by way of high temperature, high-velocity gas stream. This produces a dense coating which will increase the abrasive, erosive and corrosive resistance.
During the spraying process, the heat partially transfers from thermal spray powder to the workpiece, which is relatively cool, therefore there is little metallurgical change to either the sprayed material or workpiece. There is a mechanical bond between the coating and the workpiece.

ZGCC produces both agglomerated and sintered as well as crushed and sintered spray powder.
